Welcome to Birkenhead Primary School, Te Kura Matarae o Onewa, which sits in the heart of Birkenhead's Highbury Village. Our school's vision is to "grow active learners who make a positive difference". We provide a great learning environment, with wonderful teachers, and a range of opportunities for children to participate, to contribute, to take responsibility and to challenge themselves. We offer a full curriculum, with strong tuition in numeracy and literacy, an Inquiry approach in Social Science and Science, and opportunities in physical activity and the Arts.
